20+ Years Experience
Your partner in the process
I'm Sandi J. Lloyd, PhD, LPC, ATR-BC. With over 20 years of clinical therapy experience across a variety of mental health settings, I offer you my expertise and areas of specialization. As your own agent of change, my role is as facilitator in your process. Your therapy experience will be uniquely individualized to fit your personal needs and goals.
Being raised in a military family, I understand the loss of moving, losing friends, and the absence of a parent — and the impact that absence has on the family unit. I understand how PTSD can change a person and a family.
I have been married and divorced, so I have experienced the pain associated with that life-changing event and the anxiety that comes with being a single parent. Having faced career and life changes due to physical health issues, I understand how difficult learning to do life differently can be.
To find peace of mind and stay physically well, I enjoy painting, sailing, traveling, gardening, writing, and long-distance walking. Using my education and my life experiences, I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you on your journey to a happier and healthier self.
Let's Begin.
My Approach
Therapy that meets you where you are
Individualized Care
No two people are the same. Every therapy plan is built around your unique needs, goals, and pace — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Collaborative Process
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as a facilitator, helping you access your own strengths and insight.
Evidence-Based Methods
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and art therapy approaches that are grounded in research and proven to create lasting change.
A Safe, Judgment-Free Space
Whatever you bring to the room — grief, anxiety, anger, confusion — you will be met with warmth, respect, and complete confidentiality.
